Ms. Roxanne Beauclair

Roxanne Beauclair received her training in Anthropology (MA) and Epidemiology (MPH) from University of Cape Town in South Africa. She has previously been involved in an analytical capacity for different South African epidemiological studies of sexual behaviour and HIV, as well as birth outcomes in a public peri-natal clinic system. She has experience with mixed methods research and likes to employ analytical methods ranging from thematic contents analysis to biostatistical analysis to epidemiological modelling. For her PhD research at Ghent University she is studying how age-mixing patterns influence HIV transmission in the South African and Malawian contexts.
