The symposium will take place at the the Institute for the equality for women and men, Ernest Blerotstraat 1, B-1070 Brussel.

Topic

This symposium will present the results of the FGM PREV project, that aimed to develop and test the methodology to estimate the prevalence of female genital mutilation across European Member States. Lessons learned will be shared from prevalence studies across Europe, as well as the piloting of a methodology in Belgium and Italy.
