International Conference "Sexual and reproductive health and rights today and tomorrow"
ICRH celebrates 20 years of SRHR research, training and advocacy

4 & 5 December 2014, 't Pand, Gent (Belgium)

The International Centre for Reproductive Health organises a two-day conference on 4 and 5 December 2014 to present the state of the art and remaining challenges in sexual and reproductive health worldwide... and to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

We are pleased to give our colleagues and students from universities and organisations worldwide the opportunity to present a poster on sexual and reproductive health research during our conference. The research topic of the poster presentation does not necessarily have to fall within the scope of the conference themes (adolescent sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, HPV, harmful cultural practices or behavioural change interventions) and is not limited to clinical or sociological approaches.

  • Abstracts should be limited to maximum 2.000 characters and follow this structure:
    • Title, authors, affiliation
    • Background / Problem statement
    • Objectives
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions/Discussion
    • Key words: 3-5
  • Your abstract has to be submitted to before September 30, 2014. A scientific committee of senior ICRH experts will conduct a peer review. The final selection of the posters will be made before October 15, 2014, so that you can expect a final decision in one month's time.
  • You have to bring your poster with you to the conference. Your poster will be displayed during the conference in a designated room. Poster boards have an effective space of approximately 84 cm wide x 120 cm tall (A0 format). Posters can be displayed on a poster board by velcro or cello tape strip.
  • Electronic versions of the posters will be made available in PDF format on the ICRH website.
